Bison, deer, and pronghorns!

On our way to Hot Springs, MT, we decided to stop at the National Bison Range in Moiese, MT. The range was established in 1908 and houses over 400 bison and numerous deer, pronghorns, elk, birds, and chipmunks. It was well worth the slight detour because we got to see it all...

Antlers collected in the range.

The park is open until 9:30 at night. We started our 19-mile drive around 6:30 and it took us a little over 2 hours to complete. We saw so many amazing animals. At only $5 per car, it was money well spent.
The National Bison Range delivered!

If you are ever in the area you really should go. The park wasn't crowded at all and for such a small cost, you get amazing views of the Mission Valley and a peaceful glimpse at some of Montana's best wildlife. There's a short hiking opportunity as well.
